IAM CERTIFICATE IN ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The course has been designed to provide development opportunities to relatively new entrants to the field of Administrative Management. and serve as a preparation for moving on to the Diploma level and beyond.
At this level you will learn to look at your own performance, find the best way to work with your colleagues and take responsibility for improving practices in the workplace around you.
The course will help you:
- perform more effectively in your current role
- gain additonal knowledge and understanding about your current role
- apply your new skills at work
- maximise your personal development
- progress to roles involving supervising and training others
WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I ACHIEVE?
Students who complete the course are awarded the IAM Certificate in Management
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE?
Studying for the Certificate will normally take between six and twelve months depending on the amount of time you have available for study.
WHAT PRIOR QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
The Certificate programme is open to all candidates ( irrespective of prior experience) interested in further learning and development at work.
EXAMINATIONS
There are no external examinations required for this programme. Candidates will submit a work based project which they will complete with the help of their tutor. A Learning Diary will also be completed as you work through the course which helps you to reflect on your learning and how you can apply it in your day to day work.
